Security Officer (Contract Support)
We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer (Contract Support) to join the team at Here East.
Primary Responsibility: Provide a safe and secure environment for all staff, tenants, visitors and contractors, following instructions from the Security Control Room and the designated Shift Manager. Be able to lead with a service excellence approach to all staff, students, tenants and visitors in line with the site Assignment Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
Responsibilities
- Providing service excellence to staff, students, tenants and visitors
- Responding to emergency situations and incidents
- Perform internal and external patrols of the campus, noting all observations and any untoward activity or issues are immediately reported to SCR
- External static duties and be able to stand for long periods of time
- First aid and fire marshal responders
- Provide Banksman duties to vehicles
- Event support
- Loading-bay and Dock office duties
- Reception duties
- Problem-solving and proactive approach to duties
- Manual handling and moving items (such as barriers) when required
- Assisting with last-minute requests
