All workshops are drop in and free to attend.
School of Noise - The School of Noise returns to visit Here East this weekend to explore the wonderful world of noise, sound and music. Their drop-in workshop will allow people of all ages to play on a range of equipment that creates and controls sound, including an electronic drum kit made out of fruit and vegetables! Firetech Education – will provide ‘sit & play’ workstations to learn about robotics and electronics using Ozobots, Little Bits, and SamLabs Electronics. They will provide hands on experience of coding mobile robots as well as the opportunity to make different invention projects using their ‘Gizmo’s & Gadgets’ snap-electronics kits.
Trispace – Who said Geometrics isn’t fun?! Trispace is a system of hubs and struts that can be used to create just about anything geometric - sculptures, toys, buildings and prototypes. "Trispace is laser-cut modular maker kit. Inspired by geodesic geometry it invites playful prototyping of modular constructions. Learn geometry and build structures with designer of Trispace Michael Obrizkiv during our Fun Palaces event.
Plyconic – Plyconic is an east London children's furniture company. Producing ply furniture inspired by iconic mid century design. They are hosting two workshops, House of Ply and an easy marbling workshop.House of Ply is an interactive sculpture. Draw patterns on and build with interlocking ply shapes.
