Here East presents a week-long programme of free workshops and fitness classes for Mental Health Awareness Week.

 

Monday 14th May:

 

Boxfit

Drop-in Herbal Tea Blending

Hackney herbal present Drop-in Herbal Tea Blending, have a go at making your own signature herbal tea bags guided by staff. You will be introduced to a range of culinary, medicinal and wild herbs discussing their properties as herbal teas for health and wellbeing. Enjoy learning how to mix different dried herbs together to create blends. Feel free to drop in anytime between 12.30-2.30pm!

Join Innerfit for an informal 40min workshop about Mental Health and mindset

‘Fitness & Food to Tackle Stress & Boost Your Mental Health’ – Innerfit will be exploring Stress as the Health epidemic of the 21st Century, the science behind how diet and fitness can help plus take home tips and a chance to ask questions.

Health Consultations

Could you feel fitter? Would you like to spring into action with a fresh workout or fitness plan? Would you like some 1-1 fitness advice from a Personal Trainer?

On Wednesday 16thHealth Coach and founder of Innerfit Chris Pinner will be available for 30min 1:1 Fitness Consultations. Here East are offering 8x complementary slots on a first-come-first-served basis. If you would like to book in please email Chris at chris@innerfit.co.uk, telling him your preferred appointment time between 1.30-5pm.

Drop-in Seed Sowing

Hackney Herbal introduction to growing herbs in different urban conditions, a chance to discover different methods for growing herbs from seed or cuttings. Learn about soil care and organic methods to nurture your plants and then how to harvest, dry and store herbs. Feel free to drop in anytime between 12-30-2.30pm.

HulaFit
