Attended by over 500 people, the aim of the event was to allow young entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses which ranged from motivational speakers to bakers, accountants and inventors
40 young businesses took part in the event, held on Sunday 4th December 2016 – with the youngest being just 5 years old.
Our child entrepreneur exhibitors included: authors, YouTubers, financial advisors, motivational speakers, hair and beauty businesses, healthy food and treats and much, much more!
In the run up to their event, children worked on and developed their businesses at weekend workshops across London, run by the UltraKids Club.
Founded by Julian Hall in 2014, the club has helped start up nearly 100 young businesses in the last 12 months.
Amber Wagner, whose daughter Maya exhibited at the fair with a personal accessory craft kit for children said: “It was truly inspiring to see so many young, confident, hardworking, articulate entrepreneurs at the UltraKids Business fair yesterday. UltraKids been instrumental in building Maya's confidence, the event was held in a wonderful exhibition space and it was a well organised show. We had the pleasure of meeting some genuinely lovely people and our daughter Maya was incredibly pleased to be a part of the event and made some great sales on the day. Well done to everyone who took part!”
Special guests on the day included the Mayor of Camden, and Cllr Rosemary Sales, Speaker of Hackney who were impressed by the variety, quality and dedication of the young entrepreneurs present at the event.
