Inspiring Success is a two-part initiative, designed to provide employability support and funding for unemployed or underemployed graduates from the east London boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
Since its inception in 2015, over 70 people have benefited from the initiative, with 27 securing 100% fully-funded scholarships to study a postgraduate programme at Loughborough University London.

Inspiring Success is an annual initiative, which is offered in two stages:
Stage One: Employability workshops, Summer 2018
During this first stage, participants attend a series of workshops which have been designed to help them reflect on their experience, develop new skills and market themselves to potential employers.
The workshops cover topics such as positive thinking and the significance of mind set and resilience when job hunting or moving towards a future career goal. At the end of the programme, eligible participants can apply to Loughborough University London to study a postgraduate programme and may be able to apply for a 100% fully-funded scholarship to study a master’s programme from September 2018.

Stage Two: 100% fully-funded master’s scholarships, Summer 2018
Every year, Loughborough University London offers up to 10 unemployed or underemployed local graduates from the east London Growth Boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest the opportunity to study a master’s programme for free.
To be considered for the 100% scholarship, participants must have applied for any programme at Loughborough University London, and must have an offer from the University. To apply for a master’s programme please visit our Application Portal.
Once you have an offer, you can apply for the Inspiring Success scholarship by completing the scholarship application form. Successful applicants will demonstrate academic excellence and potential, and will outline how they wish to develop their local community on completion of their degree. Scholarship applications must be submitted to the University before 31st July 2018.
