BADU Community is hosting an annual “Proud to be” event. Join us for an evening of celebration and performances during Black History Month.
In celebration of Black History month BADU Community presents “Proud to be”. The final day of a two-day Black History celebration. We'll be hosting “Celebrate Them...", an evening of celebration to acknowledge the contribution of Black people throughout history.
The evening will include inspirational performances by talented young people in:
- Singing
- Rapping
- Spoken words/Poetry
- Dance
- African drumming
- Fashion show presented by “Black Women”
Due to the success and demand from last year’s event, Proud to Be merchandise will be on sale.
This event is open to all, so we hope you can come down and celebrate Black History Month with us and enjoy this empowering experience.
