Here East is partnering with Hackney Council to host this year’s Diversity in Tech event, which brings together employers, residents, educators and policymakers to build a more inclusive and equitable tech sector.
Now in its fourth year, this year’s theme is Tech Futures: AI, Bias and Belonging, and we will be exploring how we can embed fairness, transparency, and accountability into AI systems as they become increasingly central to our digital economy. This event will include reflections from residents on AI and equity, a panel discussion on the risks and opportunities emerging from AI adoption, and a Jobs & Skills Fair connecting residents with local employers and training providers.
