Textiles Intersections is a two-day conference and three-day exhibition of works organised by the Textile Design Research Group at Loughborough University in collaboration with the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.

Textiles Intersections is a two-day conference and three-day exhibition of works organised by the Textile Design Research Group at Loughborough University in collaboration with the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.

Following on from the Intersections Conference held in London in 2017, the conference will focus on four themes:

  • textiles and architecture
  • textiles and interactions
  • textile materialities processes
  • critical textiles

The conference addresses topics related to connections and cross- or inter-disciplinary collaborations furthering research in the field of textiles and textile design.
