Mental Health Awareness Week

This year’s theme is “Community” – and what better way to honour it than by coming together for some inspiring community-focused activities!

Monday 12 May:

• Here East Community Coffee Morning at Badu Café from 9:30 – 11:00 am. Brought to you by our partner, CIS Security.
  • Join the Here East Community for an exciting Coffee Morning with Mental Health training alongside hot drinks and sweet treats. Bring your colleagues and friends to enjoy a morning of conversation and mental health awareness.

Tuesday 13 May:

• The Zen Bus Project in the Here East Yard from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Brought to you by Delancey
  • A bright yellow American school bus once used to ferry children to school across the U.S. is finding a new lease of life—this time as a mobile sanctuary for mental health. Visit the bus in the Yard for free drop-in guided meditations, resilience workshops, practical wellness sessions and soundbaths.

Wednesday 14 May:

• Here East Wellness Walk from 11:00 am
  • Starting from the Press Centre reception, join the Here East Community for a Spring walk around the local parks, canals and scenery.
• Pampering Sessions in the Here East Fabric Pod from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Brought to you by our partner, JPC by Samsic.
  • Enjoy a 20-25 minute pampering session to relax during your busy week. Choose from: Eyebrow shaping + upper lip waxing, Eyebrow shaping + tint, or a Facial massage. SLOTS FOR THESE SESSIONS ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED!

Thursday 15 May:

• FS8 Pilates Class in FS8 from 12:15pm
  • Enjoy an exclusive class from the newest fitness studio on Canalside combining Pilates, Tone and Yoga for a unique and energizing full-body workout. First come first serve! SLOTS FOR THESE SESSIONS ARE NOW FULLY BOOKED!
• Movie Night from 4:30 pm in the Here East Marketing Suite. Brought to you by our partner, Smart Managed Solutions.
  • Join us for a Thursday movie night. Bring your favourite snacks and drinks and sit back for a relaxing evening with friends and the community. No registration required.

Friday 16 May:

• F45 Session in F45 from 1:30-2:30 pm
  • Training at F45 Stratford is more than just a workout, it's about making friends, building a community, and having fun, all while achieving more than you ever thought possible. First come first serve! Email presscentre@hereeast.com to confirm your spot.
• Zumba Class under the Theatre from 3 pm. Brought to you by our partner, Bennett Hay.
  • Enjoy an upbeat Latino Zumba class from LMA's Head of Student Experience. No registration is required.
