We are once again delighted to be part of the annual Open House London event. Join us for a day of tours and intrigue as we open our doors and invite you to explore some of the incredible businesses that operate at the heart of Here East.

Meet the architects behind the incredible transformation of the Press and Broadcast Centre, Hawkins/Brown, and take a tour around the AJ 100 Building of the year 2018. UCL will be offering tours around their new space. A unique collaboration bringing together architects, engineers, computer scientists and many others to work side by side. Plexal, a place for the innovators of the world. Join a tour and walk into a bustling mini-city that has its own indoor park, high street, town hall and a room dedicated to making and prototyping.

UCL tours

UCL VR Workshop
10am - 4pm, Max 10 people per group. Learn how to use open source software to create a new virtual world.

UCL Structure Workshop
10am - 4pm, Max 20 people per group. Building a series of structures using inflatable material and Styrofoam you will create a new world to be digitally inhabited.

Meet at: UCL Reception (Workshops are aimed at 16-24 year olds with an interest in construction, design and VR technology. Workshops are full day, no drop-ins.)
