This interactive outdoor exhibition displays and celebrates the designs of young east Londoners for the inaugural People’s Pavilion design competition.

Running throughout 2021, The People’s Pavilion is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative project that flips the script on who gets to design and curate space and measures the value of genuine co-design. It invites young East Londoners to work in partnership with professionals from the built environment and creative arts industries to design, build and curate the activity within their own pavilion at Here East.

Developed specially for the LFA (London Festival of Architecture) curated by the PoorCollective, this open-air exhibition hands the shortlisting process to the local public. Come and vote from your favourite design and help create the shortlist for the competition.

Explore the creative visions of young East Londoners and have your say on London’s first People’s Pavilion which will be built at Here East this summer – a space designed by young people, for young people.
