V&A East Storehouse is opening in May 2025 at Here East, and they have some exciting opportunities to join their team, and for you to be part of this unique new museum experience which opens up the V&A collection to everyone, brings people behind-the-scenes to make new discoveries, explore untold stories and share ideas.
On the day, you’ll meet the team and find out more about the V&A Floor Assistant, V&A East Storehouse and Collection Access Officer vacancies. You can also speak to the team about volunteering opportunities, and find out more about what Storehouse is, the Learning & Engagement team and ways to get involved now or in the future.
V&A will offer you advice on how to apply and you can join their free Application Writing Tips Surgeries during the open day. This is a timed talk with tips on how to write your application with Q&A. You can sign up to the surgeries when you arrive, and these will take place at 15:00 or 17:00 on Wednesday, or 12:00 or 13:30 on Saturday.
This day is for anyone interested in working or volunteering with the V&A, and particularly if you live in the local boroughs of Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets and Waltham Forest.
To attend and apply, you will need to be over 18 years old.
