Here East Planet
Positive change demands a sustainable approach. We apply our entrepreneurial mindset to environmental challenges, continually improving campus sustainability – from energy and waste management to bio-diversity – and working with leading innovators to develop solutions to the climate crisis. We have an ESG strategy with science-based targets, and a goal to achieve Net Zero by 2050.
Sustainable vision
Here East is a launchpad for bettering the future. We leverage the expertise within our ecosystem to reduce our footprint and amplify our positive impact. Whether that’s working to create a ‘brown roof’ pilot scheme, rewilding our Canalside lawns, or collaborating with Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to find sustainable solutions to energy supply.

Transformation at scale
Our campus originated from the retrofit of the London 2012 Olympic Games media hub, a vision that leveraged the site’s remarkable infrastructure and flexibility to save a vast amount of embodied carbon. This transformation has evolved into a resource-efficient business ecosystem, recognised by ISO 14001 certification, the international standard for environmental management systems, and ActiveScore Platinum certification, a global accreditation that rates active travel amenities in real estate.
