The projects are judged on their human, social and environmental impact, as well as the collaboration and innovation involved.
Here East was praised by the judges for its social and environmental impact, as well as the collaboration and innovation themes which are firmly rooted within the campus’ core vision. Here East was recognised for its benefits to the local community, fulfilling an economic and social need in the area through its mentorships, community and educational programmes.
Richard Moxon, Commercial Judge
The project from its inception had all the judging criteria embedded into its DNA. The project in a deprived part of London embraces its local community by investing heavily in social, economic and physical regeneration of the local area. A sustainable approach to environmental matters enhances this project with many features providing a benefit to the local community.
