With Pokémon GO bringing augmented reality to the masses, we decided to catch up with the makers, thinkers and inventors in this space to explore the future of virtual and augmented content.

Being present where we are not and blurring the lines of reality has been a constant theme in art and technology. From the nineteenth century panoramic paintings to stereoscopic photosArtaud’s Theatre of Cruelty and the multimodal sensorama, people have always been fascinated by exploring shifts in reality. Now with apps, innovations in technology and the increase in remote working, the way we develop content, devices and experiences has changed again. We caught up with four experts to find out what they are making, what they think the future holds and why VR and AR capture our imaginations so completely.
