Scope = Equality for disabled people
Scope moved to Here East In 2018 as part of its strategy to achieve everyday equality and fairness for the 14 million disabled people living in Britain today. It was a decision inspired by the London 2012 Paralympic legacy that makes this part of East London an amazing, accessible, and innovative location for its London office.
Harnessing the power of digital technology and working in partnership with businesses and organisations are vital to achieving equality for disabled people and is a unique benefit of Here East.
Collaboration for good
"First off, Here East is a fantastically accessible site for disabled people. We work with so many businesses based on campus and are currently collaborating on a hackathon to find solutions for barriers disabled people face in their day to day lives."
Krissie Barrick, Head of Digital Influencing
Inclusivity and access for all
From tactile wayfinding, large format, and braille signage, to spaces designed specifically for sensory needs, and a pioneering Changing Places facility, the Scope office is designed with inclusivity and wellbeing at the heart of it. The space ensures all who work in it and visit it are able to fully participate, thrive and enjoy the environment.
